Around Christmas time I purchased a pair of Hunter boots that I was very excited about and unfortunately after about a week or two I started noticing this strange white film developing over the black matte boots. I brought them back to Nordstrom recently at the Old Orchard Mall in Illinois and the staff was so friendly! They listened to my problem and explained to me that there had been a recall on those boots and they exchanged them for a shiny new pair that I love. I am only 19 but I have had a Nordstrom credit card for as long as I can remember. After this experience I will for sure continue shopping and Nordstrom.
I have had these boots for about 2 years now and they've shown virtually no signs of wear. The only thing that looks different is the printed labels on the lining wore off but nobody sees that anyways. I highly recommend these shoes.
I bought these boots in black after being gifted a hot pink pair and not only do I love the fit and the practicality, but because they are black and high gloss, they match with everything! Perfect for the rain and even in the snow with the fleece insert socks! LOVE!

I'm actually in the process of returning these rain boots. After visiting an actual Nordstrom store. I was able to try on these boots but the only pair they had in my size were "oxidized". I then ordered a pair online from Nordstrom. Upon arrival these boots were also "oxidized". I could buy the buffer product right away...but I personally have an issue with "putting in elbow grease" on a brand new pair of boots! I will be returning these boots ASAP!
