I was very excited about my Hunter boots! I haven't had the chance to wear them too often (need more rainy weather) but they look cute and shiny! They are very tall, I'm 5'7" and not sure how people much shorter than I am would be able to walk in these as they are already almost up to my knee. They are a bit bulky, but I think all rain boots are, plus I have pretty skinny calves so that probably adds to the extra room. Just a heads up that they are very hard to get on and off if you put them on with out socks.
I purchased these boots in the Military Red a few days before Christmas because I knew we were supposed to have a decent amount of rain. Plus, red Hunters have been on my wish list for a while and I thought it would be a great way to add some color to my outfits. I went with my standard size 6 to make sure I had plenty of room for my calves (I wanted to be able to wear these over jeans) and I knew there would be times I would wear these with thick socks. The fit was just right. I was still able to wear these over jeans without any problem. The color is the perfect shade of bright red. The first full day I had them I wore them and got several compliments. I know I'll get plenty of use out of these through the holidays and really year round. The quality is fantastic as well. Definitely recommend.

These boots are lovely. Although many reviews said to size down, I disagree. My daughter often wears 8.5 in shoes, but the 9 fit great. Keep in mine you'll usually wear thick socks, too. My only complaint is that the free shipping took much longer than Nordstroms normal shipping-- almost 2 weeks!

The Perfect All Weather Boot

Hunter rain boots are perfect for rain and snow with a Welly sock to keep your feet both warm and dry. No need to worry about slippery conditions, these boots have excellent grip. Have them in three colors. Love Hunter boots!
