I have looked at these forever and have agonized over the sizes based on reviews. My best advice is to try on in store. I wear a solid 6-6.5 depending on brand, so I had my husband pick up a 6 in store. Trying them on at home with a thin sock and a thick sock, they were still much roomier than I wanted. I have "athletic" calves and the boot calves fit just perfectly. I was concerned that the Huntress would be too big. I'm not sure these would fit with the welly socks (for me) Long story short, I tried on a 5 in store and that size was much better for me. I have also tried on the big kids size 5, but didn't like the shaft height. I am 5'1 and the taller original gloss height is just fine for me. Final advice is to try them on in person!
Love these boots!! Would definitely recommend them with the fleece socks. One piece of advice: buy them a half size bigger in order to give your foot enough room for the socks!
