Beautiful bright red color. My only problem, which happens with all rain boots without a zipper, is that it is difficult to put on and take off, even though the boot is big for my foot.

Classic Rain Boots

I got my Hunters in the mail last week and have already worn them once. I ordered military red, and I think it's is the PERFECT red. Not too bright, but still gives you the pop. I wore them all day and they did not hurt my feet. I'm normally a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and they fit great. I put off ordering these for 2 years but finally splurged and am very glad I did!

I've been wanting a pair of Hunter boots for a LONG time and finally bit the bullet....and they're going back. They are so cute and a great quality boot, but they were not practical or comfortable for me. I recommend trying them on locally if you can. They are HEAVY - like 2 pounds EACH. I wear knee-high boots all winter so didn't think these would be much different, but they were noticeably heavy. They are also very stiff, which made them somewhat difficult to walk in because the rubber does not have much bend to it...and they also made a "ca-lunk" sound every step I took on a hard surface since the sole of the boot doesn't bend much either. Overall, although I love the look, I decided they were not functional enough for me for the price tag. I returned them and am ordering the Hunter Packable Tour boots which are supposed to be lighter and more flexible but have a similar look. Hoping those are the ones for me! On sizing, I do think they run slightly large (I wear a 9 100% of the time, and the 9 felt large, but I'm not sure I could have sized all the way down to an 8). I have muscular calves (I have trouble finding skinny jeans that aren't skin tight on my calves) but had no issues with the circumference. I am 5'10" and the height was perfect, although I can see that they'd probably be too tall for someone much shorter.

Not Worth It

These boots are heavy and clunky to walk around in. I would definitely not recommend. Save your money for a more stylish pair, everyone has these. Too heavy and not worth it.
