Poor Quality

I've owned my Hunters for 14 months and the soles have cracked and leak water now. You can google this problem. The quality of Hunter has apparently deteriorated. I am bummed that such an expensive product has such a limited shelf life. If you barely wears yours you should be ok, but I live in the Northeast and mine get lots of use. But not enough that after 14 months they would need to be replaced.

Almost all-season boots!

Prosversatile, comfortable
I am so happy with these boots. I usually wear a size 6 in women's, and the size 5 Hunter boots fit well and have just enough room for the liners or other socks. I will say that I have rather small calves, and these just fit around them without being snug, so they might be uncomfortably tight on more muscular women.
I find that they're very comfortable and aren't as heavy as I expected. I'm excited that I can use these throughout the spring, and again in the fall and winter later this year -- they are pretty warm so far here while temps are in the 40's.
