Real leather, feels very sturdy. A bit bulky but they insulate very well. Seem like very reliable winter boots.

Bad Quality
PostedFebruary 24, 2022
A few years ago I decided it was time to retire my Sorel’s I had since I was 10-12 or 25ish years. Bought these. Use only to walk from house or work to the car and back. Occasionally for walks. Nothing as crazy as when I was young and played in the snow for hours on end. After 1 season, maybe less, the sole started to wear through on the inside so it is just the empty squares (I bought some liners in so I couldn’t feel pattern of the soles and make it it so I could continue using). Beginning of this winter season (start of 4th winter of wearing these) found a crack in the top of the foot area so if the liner gets wet when snow touches the boot. Bought flex seal so I can continue wearing them the rest of this winter. The quality of Sorel seems to have gone down hill. Maybe sorels are now a fashion line instead of a real quality outdoor boot. Will be researching other brands. And I used to recommend Sorel’s to anyone looking for a good quality winter boot

Not a good choice

My feet get cold within 30 minutes working outside. I've tried regular, wool, and a combination of socks - makes no difference. Very disappointed.
