I am so in love with these shoes! I got them in white and they are absolutely amazing! Not only do they go with everything but they are so comfortable. They fit true to size!

I love the look of these sneakers but they were horribly uncomfortable for even a limited amount of walking around. The stiff back part of the shoe gave me terrible heel blisters, and the rubber cap at the toe rubbed my fourth and pinkie toes raw.
Perhaps they'd be more comfortable after being broken in, but I couldn't keep them on my feet long enough to do so. Sadly these had to be returned.

Just the summer sneaker I was looking for and you can't go wrong with Converse. And yes, go a 1/2 size down. I ordered them in both sizes, 8 1/2 (my actual size) and a 8. I kept the 8, they were perfect. The 8 1/2 was a little too long, had to much room in them. Happy Summer everyone!

I felt really strongly about writing this review as I ordered these from Ottawa, Canada, and went with the sizing guidance available. I have a pair of Chuck Taylors that are a full two sizes smaller than my normal 8. I was reluctant to order the Jack Purcells in an 8 given my experience with Converse, but I followed the advice on the site and went with an 8. They were too long. Probably ok in the width, though it is hard to tell. I have shorter, wider feet. So recommend that you DO follow the usual Converse rule of at least a size down.
