I have always LOVED Bobbi Brown's lip liners. And still do! They're creamy & smooth, yet sharpen to a fine point for precise lining. Little to no pulling or dragging. Nicely pigmented with very good wear time. Stay put, don't feather or bleed. Basically perfect.
The shade "Pale Pink," however, is neither pale nor pink. It's more of a medium pinkish brick. A nice color. But very warm & fall-ish. Not the year-round, mlbb shade I was looking for. (I'm fair skinned with warm undertones).
I've attached a photo of a swipe on the inside of my forearm. (Taken outdoors, in the shade, mid-afternoon on a clear Texas day).
Have been using the "ballet pink" for a couple years now and love the natural color. I use it as a lipstick or as a base for lipstick. Just got the light pink which a great new color too!
BOBBIE BROWN has beautiful colors, great prices , and the makeup is so high quality and covers ,stays on longer --really professional makeup. LOVE THE SHARPENER -everyone else does not provide those also.
It is so hard to find a plain pink liner these days. One that works perfectly with every pink lipstick I own. All others were either too orange or too brown, didn't go on dark enough or had a peculiar odor and taste about them, but the gals at the Bobbi Brown counter matched this perfectly! No more drug store brands or high end lines at ridiculous prices and not what I wanted after all. I'd given up all hope and was so happy when I was finally introduced to this very pretty pink liner. This is one I will purchase again and again. This is why I gave this five stars...I'm so happy with my purchase!
