I love the Estée Lauder 'Idealist' Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher! I have acne prone skin, large pores and some acne scars. I use it for a week and really see difference. I also use under my makeup every morning and get such a beautiful finish...and people have noticed the difference!!!

Nice serum, works like a primer

I like this Estee Lauder serum mostly for its ability to act like a primer. I have been using this product for about two weeks so I cannot review the claims of "shrinking pores" yet. I use the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer over this serum and the serum makes my skin so smooth my tinted moisturizer glides on.
I use three pumps every morning (cover face and neck) so this product will probably last between 3-4 months.
I have sensitive combination skin and I have not had any issues regarding this serum being too harsh or drying. I plan to finish this bottle and if I like the results I will repurchase the larger size.

AMAZING! I cannot say enough about this product. I have combination skin and moisturizers & serums are often too heavy and they make me break out. Not to mention it's impossible to find a product for that in-between age skin (I want to prevent those wrinkles before I ever get them!). This stuff makes my skin smooth and clear and absolutely radiant! Pores just fade into the distance! I saw a noticeable improvement in about a week, and after 3 weeks the change was just amazing. I'm so very happy with it... highly recommend!

I am 53 and have noticed the pores in my T zone getting larger over the years, and thought the morphing into my mother was officially underway. I thought there was nothing I could do, then I saw this product. Based on the reviews here, I gave it a try. I have been using it for about a month now and there is definitely a difference in pore size! I use it once a day in the morning: 1 pump lightly massaged into my T zone area. It has a wonderful light lemony scent, which is a great way to start the day. I follow with Time Zone moisturizing creme (another wonderful product). I'm not sure how it works, but it does! I also started using a sample of ReNutriv Intensive lifting cream at night and am blown away with that product...will definitely start purchasing that. When I awaken in the morning, my skin is incredibly soft...truly amazing.
