I’m still on the fence with this. On the one hand, it goes on seemlessly, leaving no sign of make-up, something I haven’t seen EVER in all the time I’ve been putting cover-up under my eyes. (Even when other makeup looks good when I first put it on, eventually throughout the day, I can see it under my eyes.) However, I don’t feel that this stuff is providing a lot of dark circle coverage. Also, I don’t really like the delivery system. The idea of continually using that never-dry brush turns me off, and it’s hard to see how many clicks it takes to get the amount of makeup you want. I feel like I end up wasting some, and end up looking for places on my face to use the brush to make sure I use all the makeup that’s been dispensed. And I don’t use the brush to blend it in; I prefer to use my fingers. I’ll keep using it for awhile and see how I feel as time goes on. I do love La Prairie; I am so happy I discovered this brand several months ago (after receiving some La Prairie makeup as a sample). La Prairie is in a hemisphere above all other makeups I’ve tried in my life. Definitely worth the $. But with this particular item, I’m not absolutely in love...but waiting to be.
This is nothing I have experienced before which definitely exceeds my expectations. 1) it does not have any texture because it is so fine and just melts into your skin and makes your eyes look so awake and healthy. And it stays that way for a whole day. 2) it works before or after your foundation as claimed 3) it is great value as you get a refill 4) it doesn't give the full coverage but at least 80%. I would think anything above 90% always looks fake. If you want/need that full coverage, you do need to add a different concealer. But for me, a little imperfection is perfect as it's less fake. 5) For references, I use shade SOFT IVORY for the skin caviar foundation and use the lightest shade for this eye treatment. I l have very oily eyelids so i only use a little on lids or finish with powder.
