The Clinique Anti-Acne solutions line is terrific and this is one of my faves to-date. Unlike some over-the-counter acne medications, this one does not irritate the skin and a little goes a long way. If you've ever had redness or itching from other drugstore brands, try this instead; you'll be happy you did!
I am obsessed with this product. Part of me doesn't want to tell you how great it is because it is often sold out, and then I go into obsessive mood and buy like 5 at a time.
This is the only acne product I use.

Proshelpful, non fragrence, wont dry out
I needed something to help clear some occasional blemishes... I get stubborn pimples that seem to linger for days and i was over it! I was trying to decide between this and Clinique's salicylic acid acne solutions. When I bought this in store, she was kind enough to give me a sample of the salicylic acid solution. I have pretty normal skin, not oily or dry and not sensitive. One night before bed I used the salicylic acid on one problem area and the emergency gel lotion on another problem area. I felt as though the salicylic acid worked very well on fresh (like new pimples that were red) areas while the benzoyl works very well on not so fresh areas, healing those areas and keeping them from darkening. So then I bought the salicylic acid as well. Basically my face has never felt better. Pimples are not sticking around forever and leaving dry spots for weeks.
I have been using the Gel lotion for about a week now. The gel lotion is different from other spot pimple gel brand I used. It didn't make the skin very dry or burn. But it is working slow. I have one big pimple and have been applied the gel for 3 days and the pimple doesn't get smaller yet. I probably need to continue and see how it does in the long term. It might work slow but help more to prevent the new pimple coming. Will see.
