I used this fragrance years ago and thought I'd try it again. Love it! Spicy and warm smell that people around me said was "intriguing ".

Prosjapanese, sophisticated, elegant
BRAVO to Shiseido for bringing back this incredibly sophisticated fragrance. Shiseido came out with some nice ZEN "sisters" if you will but they were not of the level of the original ZEN I fell in love with at my Christmas at the ripe age of 12. At the time, I was in love with Japan (which I still am) from my 4th grade cultural studies at school. I was deeply intrigued by the fragrance blend as well as the packaging. The Zen cologne of today is in a totally different league and is not "Zen" at all. It is so uber-modern Tokyo and really should be re-branded somethng totally different. Classic Zen (as they call it today) is more "Kyoto-esque" and of the "old world Shiseido" which you can still find in the Shiseido Paris boutiques. PLEASE bring back the perfume version!

Been using this for many years. It is getting very hard to find. Thank you Nordstrom for delivering this to me..
Shiseido keeps saying that they're pulling classic (black bottle) Zen, so I'm stocking up. I fell in love with this scent when I was a 15-year-old kid...THAT'S how long it's been around. It's a nice, subtle floral blend with powdery overtones and woody undertones.
