I purchased a dress from Nordstrom for a wedding next summer. I was concerned about finding shoes as I am recovering from a broken bone in one of my feet as well as a sprained ankle.
These shoes caught my eye because of their elegance and strong colors. The reviews convinced me to order them.
The heels are high enough to look nice at a formal event, but low enough to be comfortable.
I purchased two pairs of these shoe (in silver) because I wasn't sure what size would be best for me. As it turned out, they were both too large! I had to order a third, smaller pair, which fit. Recommend that these shoes be ordered at least 1/2 size smaller than your usual size. This is a very pretty shoe; I've always liked the d'Orsay style because I think it's very chic and sexy - in a more subtle way than stilettos! (Which aren't as comfortable as these, either, by the way; see below.) I'm intending to wear these shoes on New Year's Eve, when I'll be attending a fairly elegant party at an art museum. I know I'll be standing a lot that evening, so I think these shoes (with a 2-1/2" kitten heel) should be perfect. I've tried them on and have worn them around the house for a little while. They seem very comfortable.
