Prosvolumizing, lengthening, defining
I was hesitant to try this mascara and was fully ready to take it back had I not liked it. However, I must say that I really really LOVE it. It surpasses my expectations. I have discovered that with this mascara ( as with all ) it all depends on the technique you use when applying. I start at the base and gently shimmy the wand, then I STOP shimmying the wand and I ROLL the wand in my hand all the way up to the tip. I let it dry and apply ( gently ) a second coat. After I learned this, I discovered how much I really liked the mascara. I just had to work it for a few days to perfect the application. After I put this on today, I asked my husband what he thought. He said that my lashes were " Really long and looked very nice". They are long anyways, but now they are almost to my eyebrows with this mascara on. Plus this brush seperates EVERY lash for a feathered look and my lashes are still soft to the touch. Worth every penny and a great price. I will KEEP buying this and hope they never discontinue it.

Prosvolumizing, beautiful
I was a big fan of Dior's LongOptic mascara, but when they discontinued it I had a hard time finding a replacement. Dior Show is just not the same. It's just not as thickening as I want it to be. I'm a bit of a makeup snob, so I was surprised that I really liked MAC Plush Lash because it's half the price. I love how thick my lashes are and the way they fan out pretty.

I must say, I was deeply disappointed with my new MAC Plush Lash Mascara. Let's start with the brush: This small but very important peice of the product seems to be a victim of bad engineering. Though very large indeed, the bristles are ill-tamed and feel much like cat whiskers off of a child's toy. A saftey hazzard for anyone who likes to begin applying mascara right at the root of her lashes. Not much has to be said of the formula. It is utterly cakey. Clumping, Spiking and smudging were all too familiarly present. I have to admit that I am concerned about the integrity of MAC Cosmetic Companies. "A mascara formulated to instantly plump up lashes for extreme voluptuous effect. Works fast. Builds volume smoothly and evenly from root to tip. Delivers a silky, flexible, full fan of lashes. Fluid formula lightly coats lashes one layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping. Goes on via an innovative, specially patented wand with a V-shaped groove that prunes the bristles on one side while leaving the other side full and lush. The short bristles coax the lashes upward to an extraordinarily sophisticated yet flirtatious curl, while the other side separates and combs the lashes root-to-tip creating a long, well-defined glamour lash.Volumizing, lengthening, curling, lifting. This mascara features everything you want, with all the top mascara no's: no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking."
The only part of this description I found to be true was that there was a lack of flaking. The sticker on the bottom of my tube was also truthful. My mascara was indeed black.

This mascara is sooooooo great! It goes on easily and makes my eyelashes look so long and full.
