Of course this jacket is not flattering - it is a windbreaker with no waist. But it's great for running errands, trekking to/from the gym, or for travel (packs very easily given the lightweight material). I've owned several iterations of this jacket and while I see some differences in this one to previous versions, it's still waterproof and comfortable and appropriately priced.

Heavier fabric

I returned this jacket because it was heavier than expected. This is my third Venture jacket and either I ordered the wrong jacket or they have changed the fabric. It was fine but I wanted something that would fold up into a backpack easily.

Not what was expected

I was so looking forward for a jacket that was light enough for spring and yet good for everyday use. But this was not what I expected it was huge and had an awkward shape and the texture was very weird. I returened it.

Just returned from the Bahamas where the weather was less than perfect. My friend had this jacket and was jealous the whole time as I was wet and cold. Purchased two , one for myself and one for my daughter. Very pleased with the quality as well as how package lit is. Looking forward to warmer drier vacations with this jacket
