This is my second Venture jacket, my first one being in the Magic Magenta color that they no longer make. The first jacket was the usual rainproof material they normally use. I then bought High Rise Grey and I noticed that there is almost like a fabric over the waterproof material, giving it a softer texture but making it possible to see the raindrops soak into the first layer (they do not go through the jacket though as it really is waterproof), which some people may not like but I didn't mind. I like the uniqueness of the texture of the jacket! I always get compliments on it :)

Love this coat. It is light weight yet not flimsy. If its too cold or windy just throw a long sleeve or thin sweater underneath and your good to go.

Ordered this jacket for my mother. It's a lovely jacket but unfortunately did not work for her. The shoulders were too big and sleeves too long. Did not fit around her torso so she could not get it zipped up.
