I ordered this bandeau because I needed one to be worn under a dress with an open back. While out of the box, first impression was good, I don't think the product was designed to serve its purpose well. Based on my experience, the biggest issue for me was the wire located on the sides of the bandeau. The lace and design are nice but the wire was the turn off. The overall fir was good, but the wire gathered on the sides of my body and created a bulging effect which is visible when I lifted my arms. Needless to say, I could not have worn the bandeau on its own and the wire would have shown underneath a thin dress/shirt. The dress that I ordered this item for did not work out but I was contemplating keeping the bandeau for other uses/wear... However, I am returning only because of the wire situation. One thing to note is I ordered two different sizes (though different Free People bandeau styles) and both sizes had the same issue with the wire. Therefore, I think it's more of a design issue rather than incorrect sizing.

I ordered this lace bandeau to take the place of my strapless bra. I could not be happier. The bandeau is very comfortable, fits well and very feminine. I purchased one in white and one in black.

Prosgreat piece
This is the second FP bandeau I've purchased and plan to get in most colors. It is a must have to make those plunging necklines acceptable as daywear and in more conservative settings. Just wear it underneath and keep the cleavage under control. Looks perfect.

This top is perfect for wearing underneath lower cut shirts. I only gave it 4 stars because it is a bit snug for my bust. It doesn't look tight it's just a little uncomfortable by the end of the day.
