The description includes "soft denim". I washed and wore the jeans once….fabric was rough enough to be uncomfortable. I love NYDJ and wear them almost exclusively but I returned these which is a first for me.

I love the fit of these jeans. The fact that they go up to my waist is what I love the best. The legs have more room than the last pair I bought, which I like. The disappointing thing about them is that the jean material is too thin. I had worn them for 2 days now and they already have snags that show. They almost look like they will create a "run" in them similar to nylon stockings. I really thought they would have the thicker denim like regular jeans have. The weight of these seem like they would be best as summer wear. Other than that, I like them.

I love NYDJ jeans. They wear and wash beautifully. My only issue is they do not run true to size. I can range from a 6/8/10 depending on the color or style. It hasn't stopped me from buying; I just order many sizes and return what doesn't work. If in the store, I go when I have enough time for many try-ons.
