After not having worn jeans for several years, I decided to buy this particular brand of jeans, because so many of my friends recommended them. Needless to say I have not been disappointed. I can wear them to a very nice restaurant with a dressy top and high heeled boots, or just casually with a T-shirt and sandals. I love this dark denim color as well. No matter which way I turn and twist, the jeans go with me and return to the original shape. I am so pleased with myself for having bought them.

I have always purchased NYDJ and the fit on this style was perfect. The length was too long and I had to have them shortened. There was no charge to shorten the pants and i had them the next week. I would recommend this style. I am going to look for them in black.

If you are familiar with NYDJs, then you will know there are some fabrics that are more 'giving' than others...these 'jeans' are one of them. They are very comfy, because the material is quite thin/cotton-like. Does not feel like normal jeans, so they don't 'hold you in' like normal jeans. I do however love them for work, sitting at a desk they are perfect because they are roomy and comfy and soft. But I wouldn't exactly call them tummy tuck or rear lifting pants. They are just too loose and thin to hold or lift anything, and I'm afraid a smaller size would just look like I'm wearing spandex they are so stretchy. And I even washed them in hot water and dried them on high. normal jeans I would wear a 12, in this brand I always get a 10, and these are 10's. I'm 5'4, 170ish, give or take a few. Great for a desk job, because they are comfy sitting, and still look 'nice.'
