Always hard to tell about fit when ordering on line. In this case the 14P was just too large.

I'm a 52 yr old fashion conscious woman. I weigh 145 lbs now as i've gotten older & have that lovely tummy flab going on :) These jeans are perfect for hiding the 'muffin top' as they fit high on the waist. The denim is very nice quality, dark. The material is slightly stretchy but not overly flexible as the jeans do not expand & get too large while wearing. Nice product! I'm very pleased w/this purchase.

The jeans are nice and long, but the downside is the top of the jeans roll down all the time unless you wear a belt. And the belt loops are way too big. So, if you don't wear a belt the loops show really bad through any blouse because they stick out. Material seems to wear out kind of fast. I've only had mine a few months and they are already wearing out. I do not think I would buy them again. I was disappointed with Nordstrom. They usually carry higher quality products.

These are the best jeans ever. I read lots of great reviews and they are all correct. I don't know how nydj does it, but they lift my butt and flatten my belly and make me feel very supported when I wear my jeans. Definitely worth the price. I am 5' 3/12" and 116 lbs. I have short legs, so I ordered the boot cut in size 0 to make my legs look longer. The fit and length is just right. The length is long, just skimming the floor, but that's what I wanted. You could always get these hemmed if you wanted a shorter look. I am going to try the nydj trouser pants because I would love to be able to wear these to work!
