My "Go-To" Jeans

Prosconsistant fit, good quality, versatile styles
I am a NYDJ girl! I love the fit and feel of these jeans; the quality & fit are always consistent, they are contemporary yet appropriate for the curvy, over 50 woman looking for a great pair of jeans. I've been a fan for years!!

These jeans are supposed to be "denim," but are the thinnest denim jeans I've seen and the fabric doesn't look or feel like denim. I ordered a size 6 and they fit good, although they're a little big through the thighs and way too long #33"# for my 5'7" height. Because of the thin fabric, the pant hem curls up and they are definitely not warm enough for cold weather, but only good for spring and summer. The fabric is strange and the workmanship sloppy -- definitely not worth $105! Overall, these jeans were a disappointment.

This complaint has nothing to do with Nordstrom but with the way NYDJs are now cut. The title NJDJ would give one the idea that they are designed for the more mature woman and not a young woman who fits well into the more slim fit. While I wore NYDJs and felt they fit very well when they first came out that is no longer the case. I am 73 years old but still like to dress very stylish. I am not obese wearing a size 8 or 10 petite but like many other age 50+women do not fit the pants of the young woman. If NYDJ designers continue to made their jeans skin tight, then they should change the name. Please pass this concern on to the makers of NYDJ. Thank you

The boot cut on these is too wide for the fabric. Given the soft fabric, the legs wave and flap. Otherwise, they fit beautifully. Returned them due to the flapping and waving.
