I just got these jeans. It was suggested to order a size smaller than usual. I was skeptical that I could wear a size six, so I ordered a six and an eight. I appreciated the fact that I can return the pair that didn't work, with free shipping. The six was a bit snug, but they do stretch with wear, so I kept them. In addition to being extremely comfortable jeans, they are flattering as well. I got compliments the first time I wore them. I love the dark wash, which makes them a little dressier as well as slimming. The fabric is a little on the thin side, but I like that about them. I would recommend these jeans, and suggest you do try a size smaller than you usually wear.

I tried these out in a plus size 14, and have also worn the regular 16. I liked that they are high waisted and have a dark wash with a boot cut. Despite the claim of these jeans, they do not lift the stomach like some other jeans do (e.g. jag or kut). As a curvy active woman, I have thighs that rub together and I walk a lot. The jeans developed pills in the thigh after only a couple of hours. Despite this, I kept them. Over time, the color faded at that same spot in a most un-flattering way. The fabric is kind of thin, and then stretch actually makes them less comfortable, I found, over time. I would not suggest this brand. I wish that Nordstrom's wasn't so in love with this brand for the plus-size women. I have had better luck with several other brands that are less expensive and hold up better with a more flattering look over time.
