irritated my eyes

I actually felt like this cream made my skin feel tighter but for some reason I think it affected my eyes. Though my face felt fine my eyelids felt much heavier and more crepey even though I avoided putting the cream on the area. Once I stopped my eyes felt fine and then I tried going back to using the cream only to have the same result with my eyes. I had to return it since droopier eyelids didn’t make the cream worth it. Anyone else experience this?
I've been a loyal Elemis customer for about 10 years. Prior to Elemis, I used to buy skincare products from Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Lancome, or frankly, any brand that was having a Gift with Purchase deal. I'm in my early 40s but have combination skin with the occasional hormonal acne. This cream honestly is one of the few products that do NOT clog my pores, is not oily on my skin, and doesn't make me breakout. I even use this cream on my husband and 9 year old daughter!
I have sensitive skin so it does tingle a little after I put it on. The results are staggering. My skin is smooth and tight. I don’t use it every night, I use it every other night. I also use serums on nights I don’t use it. But my skin is so smooth and my pores are tiny!
