Does it's job but can get messy. I switched to a different brand entirely when the clear cap kept popping off and shavings spilled all inside my make-up bag. The only good thing about this product was the plastic pick to get out pieces that ended up stuck in the sharpener but even that popped out and got lost.

This sharpener does a good job of sharpening my eyeliner pencil. I wish it actually sharpened to a sharper point, but it works well enough. I also have one that I use on my eyebrow pencil and it works perfectly for that.

I ordered one and it broke, I thought perhaps I had done something wrong. So I ordered another one, and it broke too, the plastic is not very durable & cheaply made. However the rest of my "million dollar MAC" collection is fabulous.

Previously brought the dual Sharpener which really ate away at my pencils (This product is discontinued now) so i recently purchased the small pencil sharpener and I have fallen in love. The Product brings new life to dull pencils that need a pick me up , no question about it ... Item is a must have for anyone whether you be a professional or use makeup casually.
