This base is wonderful! It really evens out skin tone and prepares skin for makeup. I've gotten many compliments as to how refreshed my skin looks. A must buy!

Not a fan of too many steps with makeup and also feel that the new formulas of foundation being introduced these days are advanced enough that you wouldn't need a step like a primer/base, but I do really like this product. It evens out my skin tone and yes, it does add a bit of a whitish glow to my skin, but I let it soak in for a few minutes before applying Chanel foundation. I apply with either fingertips or foundation brush. It feels like a moisturizing powder. Only disappointment is that it doesn't have SPF in it, which would be a nice addition. I use the other Chanel primer when I need something to keep my makeup on all day, but I use this one when I want to really even out my skin tone, esp the redness around my nose. Would prefer the product to be fragrance-free, but have gotten used to the light fragrance and can tolerate it although I feel it's completely unnecessary. Even though it's called "illuminating" I have not found this to be the case. The other Chanel primer provides much more of a illuminating finish and more of a moisturizing effect.

Proslight, moisturizing
This base is fantastic. It illuminates your skin like good health and youth combined. I have been using it since the 1980's, when it was only available in Europe. Lucky me!!

Prosflawless, moisturizing, natural, comfortable
If you have a foudation that seems little bit dark during winter ,this base will lighting the shade so you can use the foudation anytime.
