I had high hopes for this mascara, since most products smear on me. I have long lashes, and color transfers to my lower lashes and then onto my face. This mascara is very thick, rather gloppy in fact. A truly smudge-proof mascara should only come off with warm water. This one does that, but also with eye makeup remover, which means that it will dissolve in oil. That's the problem. Skin contains oil, and that's why it smears.
