This has been a "go-to" shade for years. Years ago I read that it was a good color for all complexions and gave it a try. It is a perfect red that isn't overpowering. I am fair/medium complexion and blonde and it has nice color and isn't overly bright or matte which can happen easily with other reds. It feels great on the lips and smells wonderful too. I highly recommend if looking for a red lipstick.

I recently purchased Healthy lips, for which I am very pleased with the formula. Years ago, Laura Mercier made a "French Lips" which I loved until they discontinued. I wished that would bring it back.

I have been on the hunt for the "perfect" lipstick for quite some time now. I had become too depended on Chanel's Rouge Coco Lipstick to realize that the color literally wore for less than 30 minutes and I was going through a lipstick tube in less than a month. I was pretty sure I was searching for the impossible until I came upon Laura Mercier's Sheer Lip Color which provided the one thing Chanel could not: pigmentation. The hydration on this lipstick is 4 of 5 stars but every other aspect of it is a 5. The color honestly wears at least 5 hours, no re-application needed and when it FINALLY wears off, it leaves the most subtle rosy color on the lips that doubles almost as a stain. I work and attend college full time and find that only one application is needed to get me through the entire day. If I choose to go out at nighttime then I will re-apply but only to amplify the color, not because it has worn off.
I don't think I've ever reviewed a product on here until now, but it hasn't been until now that I've found the perfect lipstick: long-lasting, pigmented, moisturizing and natural in color.
