Pencil part is loose already

I don't use much makeup, but use this almost daily. But, the pencil part inside the wood (you know, it would be the pencil lead if this were a lead pencil) is loose in the wood. So if I hold it upside down, it'll fall out. Wished they'd make these more durable because now I have to live with this until I feel like at least I used enough of it to throw it away. On the question "Would you recommend this to a friend" -- Clarins should have a Maybe option. They are forcing me into an option, Yes or No. Really, it's "maybe." So I selected No since I didn't have a Maybe choice. I can't definitively say yes because I'd have to tell a friend about how the inside comes loose. And, it does smear a little bit by the end of the day. But it's pretty good compared to other pencils. So, maybe.

I've used this eyeliner for years. I've picked up others when I was in a bind and always came back to the Clarins.
