What happened to Ugg quality??

Less than 6 months of wear, slipper wear, not wear everyday shoe type wear, and these look like my oldest, raggedy pair of slippers. Threadbare on the inside heel of one of them. I can’t count how many pairs of Uggs I have had and still have but this is it, no more. They are far too expensive to be such pieces of garbage.
I love the quality and fit of this UGG “around the house” pair of slippers. They feel as soft and cushy as my last Nordstrom purchase of this kind which was a Woolstrich (now out of business) pair.
