Perfect snow boots

I bought these for two vacations in snowy climes. With just one pair of wool socks, my feet stayed warm and dry the entire time. They are quite comfortable and not heavy. I was happy to hike around in them. They didn't perform great on ice and I slid around without traction when the trails were icy. In deep snow, the boots had good traction and shed water.
While I generally wear an 8, I purchased an 8.5 knowing I'd wear heavy socks. They are a perfect fit, and as I said, very comfortable.

After reading reviews about sizing up and down, I bought these boots in both size 10 and 11. I don't understand why half sizes aren't offered after size 10. I am normally a size 10. After trying on both sizes, I went with the size 10. They are perfect with trouser socks. I can't foresee there being a need for thick socks as they are well lined and extremely comfortable. I wore them for the first time to participate in a march - had them on all day. They never made my feet overly hot and they didn't cause blisters as there was no rubbing. I am very happy with these boots.

Love my new boots! They're not only super cute but keep my feet warm & dry. I've been avoiding making a winter boot purchase for a while but I'm so happy I bit the bullet & spent the money on a pair that I love & know will last me a long time. Totally worth it!
