Definitely not a snowy weather boot

I purchased these shoes because the Ugg website boasted about it being a great for the rain and very cold temperatures. The positives are the shoe is very warm and has the same soft lining as the traditional Ugg boot. Also there is no break in required because the shoe is very comfortable. The negatives definitely outweigh the positive. This shoe is supposed to be an all weather boot good for up to -20 C. I was in the snow this weekend so I had to unflip the top of the shoe because it was so cold. The suede part of the shoe is now water stained, so the suede part is not waterproof like the description says. Also when the suede part of the shoe is flipped up the tongue of the shoe does not go high enough causing the highest lace of the shoe to tighten over your shin. Further, this shoe was zero grip. In -20 you would expect to run into some ice but at 30 degrees these shoes would not stick to the ground and resulted in me slipping and falling on the ice twice. This shoe kept my feet warm and is very comfortable but for the price and brand I expected more from the product. If you plan on using the shoe as a rain boot it works but not if you will encounter icy roads of plan on flipping up the top part of the shoe due to cold conditions.

Love this boot

The softness of an UGG on the inside and the durability of a duck boot on the outside. Totally perfect!!
After trying pair after pair of snow boots, I've finally found perfection! These boots are lightweight, fit well, not too clunky and look awesome. They're also warm and cozy. This morning I plowed through four inches of snow and they were great. I got the white and they are gorgeous. Love them!!!

My most attractive ugg boots I got the white looks very fashionable , keeps my feet warm and not heavy at all compared to other snow boots. It's a keeper can't stop wearing it get lots of compliments how pretty it looks in person.
