Like many previous reviewers, I purchased this in 1/2 a size larger than my normal size. I tried them on in the store and the salesperson suggested I buy my normal size, which is a 6, since the fleece will flatten and the shoe will get looser. The Ugg Store also suggests buying this shoe in your regular size. But in my regular size, the boot felt too short and my toes were squished. I went with half a size larger since I plan to occasionally wear them with wool socks.
So far so good. I've worn them several times both with and without socks. With socks, they fit perfectly. Without socks, they are slightly loose because I think they run a little wide. However, they are comfortable and they don't give me blisters.
Overall a good purchase! They aren't too heavy and the sole has good traction on slippery surfaces. I bought them in the Otter color. I debated about getting the black since most of by clothes are black but I liked the versatility of the Otter.
I have the tall Adirondack's in grey and love them every snow season. I got these for those cold days when the tall boots would be more than I need. They're really warm, very comfortable and quite durable. I usually wear a 9, sometimes a 9.5, and got them in a 9.5 as they do run a bit short, but the width is perfect for my slightly wide feet. They're cute and very easy to get on and off over jeans.

Prosperfect
These boots are true to size I wear them with no socks my feet are warm and toasty and very comfortable would highly recommend them been searching for boots for a long time I have finally found them

These boots are everything they are advertised to be and more. They were recommended for warmth and traction in a backpacking guide. They do run about 1 size small. I sent them back for a size larger. Nordstrom was great about the return and got the new pair here in time for Christmas.
