Super Comfortable + Warm + Cute

Very happy with these boots. I'm from San Francisco and needed warm, waterproof boots for a 2-week trip in late December to the Arctic Circle (average temps have been between 5ºF and 30ºF so far) after my old North Face boots finally busted a hole. Functionally, these boots are exactly as described: waterproof, VERY warm (I only need 1 pair of wool socks (SmartWool) to have kept my toes feeling toasty even after hours walking around outside – I definitely didn't want to have to double-up on socks), and the Vibram soles are built well for good traction on snow and packed ice.
Previously I bought the Sorel Joan of Arctic boots as they were so well-reviewed, but they were very uncomfortable for me in the heel (something I saw in the reviews), and too wide – felt like walking around in snowboarding boots. On the other hand, these UGG Adirondack boots are a great size: not very wide so I don't feel like I'm walking any differently, and I'm able to lace them up so they feel snug over a pair of tall socks + leggings, even though I have very thin ankles + lower legs. Also an extra-specific detail in case it helps anyone: I'm 5'4" and wear a size 9 in athletic shoes (true to size – these boots are a 9 for me with 1 pair of socks), so I usually have a hard time finding any boots that fit my larger-than-average-for-height feet AND my legs. These are great.
Style-wise, they look just as they do in the pictures. I got the Otter color to break up my all-black-all-the-time wardrobe, and actually love the color. It's a true warm medium brown – not red/cognac as I'd worried. On this trip, I'd also spent a few days in major cities (Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen) and normally I'm the type to suffer for fashion, so I was worried these boots would feel too "over-prepared American tourist in chic Europe" – and while I wouldn't call these boots CHIC, I definitely felt like I had the coolest looking winter-ready boots among all of the other tourists freezing our butts off!

I just bought these for myself and so far, I love them. I will be moving from CA to MT soon so that will be the real test! They are very comfortable (of course...they're Uggs!) and feel very sturdy yet not overbearing. After reading many reviews about size, I ordered my regular size 8.5 and they fit perfect. I tried them on without socks but feel that there is still room enough for wearing a light weight pair of socks too. Color Otter is very cool. I can't wait to get to some snow and try these out! I have a feeling they will be nice and toasty!

These boots run true to size. I wear an 8 and these are perfect. Warm, comfortable, sturdy, and cute. The toe of the boot is roomy so socks wont bunch up against toes. They are very well made and will last for a very long time.

Warm, but did not fit.

I loved the look and quality of these boots, and found them very warm. The problem is that the 8.5 was too small - my toes bunch up in the toe box. I then tried the 9 and found that it was too big - my feet kept sliding forward, bunching toes up again in the toe box. I also found them a bit too heavy for my liking. I really wanted to love these boots, but they just didn't work for my feet.
