The best I'll say is that I read all the reviews and couldn't believe the raves for a bar of soap. I now just ordered another bar for my guest bathroom. Who knew a soap could be that good and different from any other bar of soap I ever used!
I buy this soap for my family every year. It is their absolute favorite and mine, too. Very gentle on my dry skin and I don't have dryness itching after using it.
While staying at the Four Seasons, Punta Mita, Mexico about 10 years ago, I disccovered the hotel used L'Occitane products as the complimentary products left in bathrooms, including a shea butter soap. With a huge bathtub and plenty of L'Occitane products, including discontinued bath sugar tablets, it was like heaven to bathe. When I got home I went to purchase the soap and found it came in lavender - a favorite scent. I shower daily and this size lasts me for about 3 or 4 months. My skin never has that tight, dry feeling when I dry off and it's such a pleasant scent to begin your day with.
