I have been a lifelong user of the three step method but recently, my face was red and started to burn. It does that from time to time and I was looking for something to calm it down. This kit worked perfectly! I ordered the “kit” because I wanted to try things out before buying full size products. I read to not use the 3 step method and use this instead. I also use a mineral cleanser after this cleanser. This is now part of my daily face regime.
I rate it an A+++++ Amazing! I’m 31 years old and suffer from redness on cheeks/minor rosacea, after trying this product for about a week my skins flawless. I don’t write reviews, However I appreciate Clinique products and just needed to share the positive outcome!
Controls redness when you first put moisturizer and primer on, but even through the moisturizer is “oil free” my skin gets soooo greasy. Also don’t feel “clean” from the soothing cleanser.
I have Rosacea pretty bad and really sensitive skin as well (the 2 seem to go hand in hand). I kept reading great reviews about this skin care set. Here is my experience after almost 5 days of use: I wear full coverage cream foundation due to my redness, so I need a good cleanser to really remove it. The cleanser that comes with the kit is soothing but I can't just rinse it off, it doesn't remove my makeup. So I have found that I use cotton pads to wipe away most of it and then rinse. The moisturizer is lovely and feels great on my skin! I even ordered another full size cream for future use. The CON - the base primer doesn't go on well AT ALL. It is like putting putty on your skin and balls up. There is no way of applying an even base layer before my makeup unfortunately. I read other comments on other sites that a lot of woman had the same problem. So I am unable to use the primer at all which is a shame. As far as taming my redness, I can't see much of a difference yet. I did have some red bumps on my nose that have gone away so that is one good thing!
