I love the way it feels - so smooth and soft, but it's a bit too sheer and thin for my taste. It does fit well though, fitted but not too tight, which makes it great for layering.
These turtlenecks are thin and perfect layering for cold weather. They are very stretchy and have a generous fit so they aren’t too tight.

Very thin material and I thought it ran a bit small, especially for St. John. It bunches in all the wrong places too. I think you need to be rail-thin and flat chested to wear it. I'm returning it.
I love this turtleneck. It is very versatile: can be worn under a blouse or sweater or can be worn alone. Fabric is beautiful in its simplicity and it washes easily on the delicate cycle. I air dry mine. I gave my daughter in law, a professional person, one for her birthday and have ordered a second one for myself.
