With many airlines now charging for carry ons, this bag fits the "personal item" size to fly for free! Great solution for longer trips too when you expand the zipper to make it a full size bag. Took me across Scandanavia without a hitch! Great quality and durability and it looks smart.
I’ve had this bag for about a year in the gunmetal color. It’s a great versatile bag, what would make it perfect is if they had some cushioning on the strap. Everytime I’ve carried this for travel I’ve gotten bruises on my shoulder from how heavy it gets. I still love it but had to take a star off for that flaw.
I love this bag. I have a lot of different longchamp travel bags and some aren’t easy to carry because they don’t have a shoulder strap. The only thing I find odd is the zipper. It looks great, but would be odd zipped.
I ordered this bag to be a carry on for my trip to the Dominican Republic. It worked very well. I kept it zipped/smaller for the entire trip. The leather is very nice looking and complements the gunmetal color well. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this bag, especially when traveling with kids. My only gripes about this bag are 1) the long strap is uncomfortable when carrying for a decent amount of time, 2) there are dividers inside for organizing such a large space, and 3) no shoulder straps so you can carry on your shoulder in addition to options for hands and long strap. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
