I’ve used this brush for years and I love it for putting on my loose foundation. I never see any of the brush left on my face. My makeup always looks blended nicely.
I got this to use with the original loose powder foundation and chose this brush because it is what was originally made to apply it. It’s a loose brush, not firm like a kabiki, big and fluffy and it works great when using the powder over a layer of something a little tacky like sunscreen or bb cream. It can be used to build up foundation as well to get some coverage. Because it’s a loose brush, it doesn’t pick up what I’m applying it over. I’ve used a different brand of kabuki to apply it and it works better (for me) when I’m applying directly onto bare, moisturizef skin, and then to use this brush to apply a final light layer. It does shed a little bit, but I find most natural hair brushes shed anyway.
Bought this to replace the exact same brush (replaced because it was lost, not due to quality). Bristles are soft but not so soft that you can’t control coverage. Great for the Bare Minerals powder foundation. Very happy they haven’t changed this brush and quality matches the one I had before.
