The primer is average. Like others commented, any benefit from the color diffusing beads will be covered up when you apply any foundation or anything on top of it so it looses it's glowing and color diffusing claim. It seemed to tighten more pores very very little when comparing it to other primers but enough to make me happy in this department. The smell is okay for Guerlain. Many of their products have a completely overwhelming perfume smell, so unless you like the perfume injected into the product you can be out of luck. It does have gel like feel to it. If you are on the dry side or dry completed this would probably be too drying for you. This is not a favorite primer of mine and I personally wouldn't rebuy. The price is just slightly above average for a high end primer so the price didn't deter me as much as the products performance did. In the end I returned it.
I will keep this as a back up Primer, but it really is more runny and not as effective as my current Lancôme Primer. For the price I expected better.

Proslight, flawless, natural
I have used Laura Mercier primer for several years, but now I am a devoted "meteorites" fan! It has a wonderful texture and makes my skin look healthy, glowing, young. I use it under makeup on work days, and with a bit of powder on weekends -- looks terrific either way.
