This is a perfect general face wash, it doesn't hurt my skin with any crazy ingredients and does it's job of a good cleaning !

This face wash is amazing! It has a very light/fresh scent and leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft. It cleared up my acne/blemishes after just a few washes. I highly recommend. I tested this is the sample-sized acne kit that Kate Somerville offers and decided to purchase the full sized shortly after. Lovely face wash. It really works!
The good thing about this face wash is that it is not overly drying. I have very sensitive skin and these types of products tend to be very drying for my skin. I am not sure if it really works, I only use it a couple of days a week to try and keep my acne at bay and I guess for the most part it is working. I kept it because my skin did not have a negative reaction to it which is good.
As a woman in my mid-30s who has never had acne / skin issues before, I was devastated by a random bout of raging adult acne. This cleanser was strong enough to eliminate it without the extreme irritation of some products. I would recommend using it in conjunction with the kate sommerville spot treatment (or even buy the travel / acne sampler pack to try it all out). Slightly drying, but that was to be expected. A+
