I have 2 other Long Champ bags that are the classic fold up bags, and I love them. A friend had this one and I loved it. It looks way more expensive and is great for travel. Holds so so much for a carry on the is classic and smart looking for you everyday purse. Highly recommend this .

I could never ask for a more perfect bag! I have quite the tote bag collection from many designer as well as premier designer brands and have never been so in love with a tote bag! It is of unmatchable, extremely excellent quality and it is undoubtedly THE PERFECT TOTE BAG. A MUST BUY! Its origami-inspired, wonton-like shape is unique, and well structured for a variety of unexpected uses. The sides can sink in when the bag only has a few items, and can fit an item slightly longer than the bag as well. I own this particular bag the PLANETES, and my sister has the LE PLIAGE. Thus far she has used the bag 6 days a week for the past 3 years of Grad School and the bag looks like new! Rain or Shine (in South Florida's unexpected weather) the bag has held up and kept all of our coveted items protected. She overstuffs her bag with 4, 5-lb. textbooks, a MacBook and other goodies. It fattens out but it can hold a lot. Virtually untarnished, Longchamps are a hot buy. The material can hold loads of heavy things, and th handles are extremely secure and sturdy. I have used the PLANETES for only a year, and unlike the 'Le Pliage' it has a super-soft buttery leather-like finish and the sleek all black straps are a nice touch. I much prefer the PLANETES, not only for looks, but because the material is much sleeker on this bag than the 'Le Pliage' It is definitely my go-to bag for travel and for college. I bring it everywhere and I love the bag so much I plan on getting another and the panel monogrammed. I use the bag frequently and would buy many, many more Longchamps! At first, I was skeptical of purchasing a bag with only one interior pocket compartment but I purchased a Cynthia Steffe leather pouch to go inside which allows me to keep my bag very organized. The lack of compartments is not an issue when I throw in my wallet and pouch...lack of interior pockets keeps the bag less bulky making it easy to fold up and take anywhere (the bag folds perfectly into squares no larger than about the size of a birthday card, or a half of sheet of paper). It can easily be slipped into a purse to carry unexpected loads. This bag is great for travel, school, grocery shopping, and beach day outings. And its really easy to store. You will not regret the purchase of this bag, because it will be your good friend for years to come!
