Am I the only one?

I wanted to love these boots, but was dissapointed in the real thing. With all these glowing reviews - I feel like I am missing something?? I ordered up a size (based on reviews and Nordstrom advise) and they seem way too big, there was an extra 1 inch in the toe box. There is NOTHING to the soles of these shoes, almost just like slippers intsead of actual shows. The fringe was stiff and seemed cheap. They didn't seem like the playful style that I was expecting. But maybe they loosen up if you wear them a little more. I am going to try ordering my normal size, and see if the fit makes a difference.

Proshead turner !!!!
I love these boots (color brown) , they are stylish and comfy. However, I normally wear a size 10 but after reading all the comments I went out on faith and ordered a size 11.... They are a little spacious than I would normally like but I'm going to keep them anyways! I just ordered a black pair size 10 .... So we shall see how these fit... ( I ordered the black pair from another site.... Saved $7 :) )
I LOVEEEEE these boots. I bought the brown two layer fringe last year from another retailer and was aiming to get the limited edition blue as well but they sold out. I finally was able to get them last week at Nordstrom. The color is to die for! I have not worn them yet but I know that I will get plenty compliments just like with my brown ones because they stand out. My only complaint is that the dye messes up my white and light colored socks.
