The material is very thin and has the potential to be a little see-through. When I first put them on, they felt really cheap and I was worried they would be just uncomfortable based on how the material did not really feel very soft. However, they are comfortable, but again they are rather thin. After wearing these twice just to work (so, mostly sitting down) there was a ton of pilling in the inner thigh making these most definitely NOT worth the steep price tag. I got a petite and the length is wonderful, but that is the only thing I enjoyed about these leggings.
Love the feel of these leggings. I purchased both the medium and large. The medium is a better fit for every day but I wanted the larger more comfortable size for travel. I have a wonderful black Eileen Fisher dress, below the knee with side slits. These leggings look great under the dress and the fabric slides and doesn't hang up. When I leave on a trip from a warm climate and am going to somewhere cool and damp these are easily slipped on in the airplane bathroom. The dress and leggings wash easily in the hotel sink.
These leggings fit just right. Light weight and very comfortable. They are little shorter than I anticipated, but still happy with the purchase. I ordered a large petite size.
