Couldn't get my foot into 2nd boot!
PostedDecember 28, 2010
Prosbeautiful design, very heavy, hard leather, inconsistent
ConsMedium width
These boots have been on my wish list for a very long time, and I was so excited to receive them as a Christmas gift this year. However, when I tried them on, I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The person who gave them to me was not only disappointed, but embarrassed to give such a shoddy gift. The left boot fit perfectly, but I could not even get the right boot on at all! My heel got stuck in the uppers, around the ankle area. I have never had this happen with any boot. Both boots are marked size 8B, so they must be a defective pair. I am certain that the leather vamp and counter were sewn too tight. I would expect better quality from Frye, the oldest shoe company under continuous operation in the United States. Very sad.

Love them, beautiful style, a little big but smaller size would be too small. Can't wait to show them off.

I exchanged these boots for the same size (8.5) because the first pair I had was a little snug. The new pair fit perfectly. They are super comfy, perfect tightness around the calf area for me (although I think I have sort of big calves) , and the leather is great!

I love new Frye boots. Took a day to break in but after that they have been super comfortable. Fit nicely around my calf and able to tuck in jeans.
