Great boot but runs small
PostedDecember 27, 2011
ConsNarrow width
I listened to all the other users who claimed the boot ran big and bought my true size. Then after a day of having my foot fall asleep (wearing tights, not socks), I realized I should probably have ordered a half a size larger. The heel is comfortable and the boots do go on and off pretty easily considering there is no zipper.

Western Boots
PostedDecember 13, 2011
ConsMedium width
Leather quality and workmanship is outstanding on Frye's as has already been said in reviews. Are they waterproof? My problem, is the lack of rubber sole (for slippery winter weather) and fact that they look clunky, for want of a better adjective here. Measured length against my Nike running shoes because I thought they looked long. They are true to size. Definitely western/cowboy boot style in foot area. Haven't decided whether I will keep them or not.

nice boot

i really like this boot. i consider myself to have narrow feet and they fit pretty snug across the top of my foot but are leather so should stretch some over time. my only problem is they are difficult to take off. as i read in some reviews, i too can not remove these without the help of another person. i'll be looking for a boot jack? that slides onto the heel to make removal of boot a one person job. very stylish well made boot. thanks nordys :)
