Trish Foundation: Needs a Refresh
PostedAugust 15, 2016
Prosparabens, thick, limited shades, low spf, poor packaging, needs a refresh
I’ve used most of Trish McEvoy’s face and eye color makeup with good results. Trish Treatment Foundation is good alone or over her BB cream for medium coverage. It’s thick, doesn’t absorb quickly. Lasts all day, nice finish, hydrating. Limited light shade range. Cream is the closest but not a perfect match for my pink undertones, is orangey, but it blends, color corrects, covers redness. The peptide treatment made no difference and I see no point paying extra for that. Product label includes a use by date, but like many Trish products I discovered that it contains paraben preservatives, which I'd rather avoid. Glass bottle isn’t travel friendly like plastic tubes. The pump didn’t always work, product stained my shirt. Price point is more than other high performance paraben free foundations that have broad spectrum SPF greater than 15. It’s time for Trish to refresh this foundation formula and packaging to be more customer friendly. With Nordstrom’s Foundation Finder, I sampled and purchased new color matched, paraben free, higher SPF foundations from other brands, some at less cost, for my beauty refresh.

Dries out skin
PostedJuly 25, 2016
When I first used this foundation I liked it. After awhile, it began drying out my skin. I'd have to put lotion on my face after applying this foundation. Lastly, the cap on the bottle is cheap. It cracked and could no longer be used. So then after that using it just got messy. The foundation got all in my purse. Just not a great experience for as expensive as the product is.

Oily mess
PostedJuly 18, 2016
Prosheavy, masky, oily looking, suffocating
Not what I thought this would be? I went in for another brand foundation which i love and the store didn't carry it? I was told this was similar, no way. I have very dry skin and with this foundation I felt like an oily mess. If that's what they call radiant I'll skip it. I didn't see any similarities with my original other brand foundation at all. Returning this and ordering my Brand online. This makeup was heavy and I felt like my face couldn't breathe. It felt sticky all day as well, gross! I hate looking like I'm sweating, this was referred to as radiant?? I've never had an issue with any foundations that I've tried as my skin is not sensitive and there is not too much to cover so I was shocked when I saw myself in the mirror, I couldn't get it off quick enough, back it goes!
