This is a very versatile top to wear alone or layer. The fabric is quite thin and will be suitable for warmer weather too. Despite the label, it does not look like silk per se and must be dry cleaned. I find Eileen Fisher's clothing TOO expensive as a rule for the quality and her things always run a bit big on me but this top was worth the expense.
