I only had these for a few months before they lost their "gold" color. These are extremely cheap and not like the previous pair I purchased from Nordstrom. They look extremely tarnished and like something that I could've bought at Walmart on one of those multi-earrings cards for $5. I don't wear them in the shower or to sleep.
