I must have super sensitive ear because after I put these on, my ears were burning and turned bright red! It hurt so bad! Before putting them on, I cleaned my ears with soap and water, I cleaned the earrings with rubbing alcohol, let them dry and then used neoesporne and they still hurt. I took them off after a few minutes of hopping the burn would go away, but it didn’t. It’s very unfortunate because these are so beautiful.
…but they are painful for me to wear. Both my earlobes are inflamed and sore from the posts. Either the posts are too large in diameter or the metal is an irritant or the engraving on the posts is the irritant. I can’t wear them. It’s too bad, because they look fantastic.
I have a few pair of these earrings in different sizes and wear them frequently! The most recent “gold” pair I bought on the anniversary sale has a very orange metal color. Years past it’s looked much more like yellow gold. Bummed….
