My first Sonja pair gave up after 20 years of use. Then, I only paid $75.00. I wore my dansko Sonja every winter. Now that the price has jumped to 100+, I will still buy this shoes, so comfortable and beautiful on my feet.
I love Dansko and have purchased these in the last which lasted for almost 7 years. However when I purchased these the top part that hits the top part of my food was really tight. I’m hoping that I will be able to break them in. Otherwise I love these. I would wear them for work and pretty much everything. It’s been the one of the only shoes I can wear with my bad back.
My BFF was so pleased when these showed up at her door. I knew she'd need them starting a new job after being a stay at home wife for 5 years. She said that they Saved her! They are versatile and she no longer has blisters on her feet nor has she complained about standing all day. The go with all her slacks too.
These shoes are very hard soled. They are not nearly as comfortable as my last pair of clogs that just bit the dust. I wasn't sure if I would keep them but decided to see if they would get softer over time. So far, the answer is no. They do look nice though.
